Here are some of the most common questions asked at Wild Berry Physiotherapy. If your question is not answered here, please email Joanie at wildberryphysiotherapy@gmail.com .

The Nest is located at Apple Tree Maternity in Nelson BC. We are in unit #1 at 518 Lake St. The access to Apple Tree Maternity Clinic is down to the LEFT of the main entrance of the building. There is street parking on Lake St.

Sometimes things come up and you can’t make it to your appointment. I get it! Things happen. But as a sole practitioner, 100% of my income comes from you, my valued patients. When you cancel on short notice, I don’t get paid – and I still have to pay rent and for everything else. You’re also taking an appointment slot from someone else who may have really needed it.

I have a 24-hour cancellation policy. If you cancel or reschedule your appointment with less than 24 hours’ notice, or fail to show up, you will be charged the full cost of your treatment. Letting me know as soon as possible if you need to cancel an appointment is very much appreciated!

Please also note that insurance providers DO NOT cover missed appointments: if you don’t show up, your insurance cannot be charged and you are responsible for the full fee. Future appointments cannot be scheduled until your invoice is paid.

Thank you for valuing my time!

There is meter parking on the street outside the clinic. Cost is 25 cents per 12 minutes.

NO! You no longer need a referral from your medical doctor to see a physical therapist – you now have what we call “direct access” to our services and you can just call to make your appointment.

Yes. Menstruation does not affect pelvic floor muscle treatment in any way and can often decrease the discomfort you may normally experience during your period. If you do not wish to have any internal work done during this time, please let me know.
